Ypsi Bike to Work Fridays (extended edition)People seem to be enjoying it, so we're going to keep on doing it.Bike to Work with Bike Ypsi! Meet up with local Ypsi-to-Ann Arbor commuters every Friday for a leisurely ride to work. We meet at 8:00am at Bombadill's coffee shop (217 W Michigan Ave) for the ride in to AA. In the evening for the ride back, we'll meet at 5:15pm at AA City Hall (100 N Fifth Ave) to ride back to Ypsi. Ypsilanti Independence Day ParadeBike Ypsi is pleased to be in its 2nd parade of 2008: the 79th Annual Ypsilanti Fourth of July Parade! One of the oldest celebrations in the state.All bicyclists are welcome to ride with us. The more the merrier! The route is a mile long and goes down Cross Street to end in Depot Town at Rice Street. The actual parade begins at 11 am. Line up begins at 9:45 am at the Ypsilanti High school. The latest you can arrive is 10:30 A.M. Bike decorating can be done on your own or on the day of during the line-up. The Theme for the parade is “Red, White & Blue and Green”.
